Badges, Journeys, and Awards

There are hundreds of ways for you to learn something new or learn more about a current passion-badges, journeys and awards help highlights your hard work and accomplishments.

Badges:

Journeys:

Journeys are in depth reviews of certain topics where scouts connect with community members and leaders, then develop and implement a Take Action Project in their communities. Completing a journey is a prerequisite to the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. The requirements for a journey can be found in the Badge Explorer.

Bronze Award:

You are eligible to earn your Bronze award if you are a registered Girl Scout in 4th or 5th grade and have completed a journey. Learn more about earning your Bronze award here.

Silver:

You are eligible to earn your Silver award if you are registered Girl Scout and in 6th , 7th or 8th grade and have completed a Cadette journey. You can learn more about the Silver award here.

Gold:

You are eligible to earn your Gold award if you are a registered Girl Scout and in 9th , 10th , 11th or 12th grade and have completed two Senior or Ambassador journey or have earned the Silver Award and completed one Senior or Ambassador journey. Learn more about the Gold Award here.
